Project Overview
At the time of this campaign in 2022, In South Carolina, there were approximately 436,348 kids between the ages of 5-11. At that time, 15.3% of the 5-11 age group had received one COVID-19 vaccine and 9.6% had completed the vaccination series. To reduce illness and keep children safely in schools, the goal was to reach 50% fully vaccinated kids by the end of the 2021-22 school year. The opportunity was to work with pediatricians, doctors, and pharmacists to help meet these goals. Our focus was to encourage unvaccinated South Carolinians to begin to have a conversation with a trusted healthcare professional to get honest, unfiltered opinions on the vaccine, its side effects, and allow individuals to make an educated and informed decision.
